CT Coronary Angiogram

CT Coronary Angiogram (CTCA or CTA) is a non-invasive method to view the arteries and blood flow in the heart. It is used to check the cause of chest pain or status of previous cardiac diseases. The doctor may suggest a CTCA in case of heart pain, risk of bloackage in arteries, risk of other heart diseases and to check the blockages if you have undergone a previous cardiac procedure. 128 Slice CT machine involves lower radiation levels and produces better 2D and 3D images.
